This Privacy Policy describes how BoltStream (the browser extension and the website boltstream.app) collects, uses, and protects your information. By using BoltStream, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Extension — Data Collection

The BoltStream extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It operates entirely within your browser. The extension uses the Chrome webRequest API to passively detect media resources on pages you visit. This data is stored locally in your browser's storage and is never sent to any external server.

Extension — Downloads

All downloads are processed locally using the Origin Private File System (OPFS). Downloaded files are saved to your device through Chrome's native download manager. No file data passes through any third-party service. The extension does not use cookies or any form of tracking technology.

Website — Hosting and Infrastructure

The boltstream.app website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may collect standard server log information including IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps as part of its normal operations for traffic optimization, security, and DDoS protection. This data is handled according to Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

The boltstream.app website uses the following third-party services. These services apply to the website only — the BoltStream extension does not use any of them.

• Google Ads. We use Google Advertising Services to display ads on the website. Google uses cookies to understand users' preferences and allows advertisers to target ad content based on user interests. Please review the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. It collects non-personally identifiable information such as pages visited, time on site, and referral sources. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Since BoltStream does not collect personal data, there is generally no information to disclose. In the unlikely event that any data must be provided, we will only do so when required by law or government authorities.
